Events in the Greater San Diego Area During December
2nd-3rd Balboa Park December Lights to kick-off the holiday season in participating museums open their doors with entertainment, food and holiday cheer.

11th & 18th San Diego Parade of Lights see over 100 boats, all decked out in lighted glory, cruise a 7.5 mile route on San Diego Bay. Best vantage points from the shore are along the Embarcadero, Seaport Village, Harbor Island and Coronado. - 5:30 to 9 pm. Note: Only on Sundays.
San Diego Harbor Tour a 13-mile tour of the North or South Bay which includes over 50 points of interest. Learn about the history of San Diego. See see famous sights such as Navy ships, aircraft carriers, the Coronado Bridge, the Star of India, the Cruise Ship terminal, Seaport Village, the historic ships of the Maritime Museum, and the downtown skyline.
